Not every bag is meant for the business traveler, for many of us bags are something we store deep in a closet for our once a year vacation. The SION is just that. A fairly priced, from a good brand, competent carry on luggage. It does come in a few colors, but it’s an inoffensive bag that does the job.

We like SwissGear in general and expect this to hold up better than some bargain brands, but frequent use over an extended period of time this piece is not prepared for.
But as far as the occasional trip or car ride? It’s a great size with plenty of pockets.
Style
Not all of us are ready for fashion week, but no one will take a second look. It’s not distracting ugly, just a good basic luggage-style that most of us need. It also comes in a few other colors if black is too boring for you.

“I used this to replace my old luggage that I endearingly referred to as “Old Faithful”. It was a big brown heavy behemoth without any wheels. I needed something that would carry the same amount of stuff but that would weigh less and have wheels for easy transport when I travel alone and don’t have a friend who can help me haul Old Faithful when my arms get tired. “First in the overhead bin with no problems as long as you don’t use the zipper extension or put things in the outside pocket. 360 wheels is soooooo helpful. The zippers withstand the test of time. We are constantly traveling, (several flights a month with seven people) and have only cracked a wheel once. My children abuse these bags but no other brand can hold up as well as this one.”
